Jill E. O'Sullivan

Jill has practiced law for over 28 years and is a partner with Flink Maswick Law PLLC. She has experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions and dispositive motions, as well as negotiations, arbitrations, court proceedings, trial and appeals. Jill has represented individual, corporate and municipal clients in a variety of civil matters, including personal injury and property damage cases, real property disputes and estate litigation, and has engaged in extensive motion and appellate practice. In addition, she most recently served as Principal Law Clerk to a New York State Supreme Court Justice for more than five years, providing her with a depth of experience in civil litigation.


Jill earned her J.D. at Pace University School of Law. She earned her B.S. from New York University, where she was a University Scholar. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1994. She is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.


Jill presently serves on the Boards of Directors of Steeds for Valor, Inc. and the Warren County Bar Foundation. She previously served on the Board of Trustees of the Chapman Historical Museum, from 2012-2017, and chaired the Museum’s Wine & Chocolate Tasting Event from 2014-2017. In addition, she was a co-founder of the Adirondack Women's Bar Association Legal Clinic to Aid Survivors of Domestic Violence and volunteered for the Clinic from 2010 to 2015.


Jill has been a member of the New York State Bar Association since 1994. Jill has been a member of the Warren County Bar Association since 2007 and has served on its Board of Directors, including as President in 2019-2020. She has served on the Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Committee on Character and Fitness for the Fourth Judicial District since 2018.


Jill was a co-recipient of the Soroptimist International of the Adirondacks’ Ruby Award and the New York State Bar Association President's Pro Bono Service Award and was twice named in New York Super Lawyers Magazine Upstate Edition. 


In her spare time, Jill enjoys reading, boating, biking and snowmobiling, as well as traveling, especially in her motorhome.
